Join us for a day of evaluations at KONG USA in Bristol, RI! Evaluations will be conducted by Michael Draper, Owner of Expert Safety Services, IWCA Certified Instructor, and IWCA Safety Consultant.



Please fill out the form below to register for our upcoming RDS Training & Evaluation to be held at the KONG USA Facility in Bristol, Rhode Island on October 25, 2024.

Please make sure you review the criteria for each of these evaluations BEFORE you purchase them. The criteria can be found on the RDS Evaluations Requirements page of our website.

After you register for an evaluation, you will receive a link to the IWCA Safe Practices for Rope Descent Classroom Training. Go through the presentation, take the exam (provided in a separate link), and submit your answers. If you do not pass the exam, you will not be evaluated. If you have multiple technicians being evaluated, each technician will need to pass the exam individually.

ATTENTION: If you pay for an AUTHORIZED or CERTIFIED Evaluation and you do not qualify to be evaluated, you WILL NOT receive a refund.

If you qualify for evaluation for either AUTHORIZED or CERTIFIED and you fail the evaluation, you WILL NOT receive a refund.

AUTHORIZED RDS Technician: Experienced Rope Descent System Operators who have previously taken the IWCA Safe Practices for Rope Descent Classroom Training can be evaluated by an IWCA Certified Instructor in person by demonstrating their knowledge and use of Rope Descent Systems.


CERTIFIED RDS Technician: This Certification is for technicians who have previously been AUTHORIZED by an IWCA Certified Instructor. In order to qualify for IWCA Certified RDS Technician, you are required to complete and submit a verifiable log documenting at least 480 hours of Authorized RDS use and be evaluated in person by one of our Certified Instructors.
